A divorcee, I shall be..

I, Aisha, hereby declare that my divorce is just days from being official. I have grieved. I'm probably still grieving. I grieved so hard, it felt like a family member had died.

I am saying goodbye to a spouse who has shared a roof with me for the last ten years..shared a roof and a whole lot more.

It is painful.

I want to acknowledge that...so help me, God.

It WAS a decade of our lives.

There are memories that will never fade but soon I will see you walk through that door and it shall be a final goodbye.
