All is well......

by Jenny Savage
(Northern Ireland)

For all my friends.. I love this piece, i have if framed and in my kitchen....

May the memory of all u have shared with each other,
All u have been and meant to each other be ur strength.
Today-your sloace tomorrow.

I have only slipped into the
next room. I am I, you are you. Whatever we were to each
other, that we still are. Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way you always did.Put no difference in your tone, wear no air of solemnity or sorrow.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Laugh as we always
laughed at the jokes we shared together. Let my name be
ever the household namethat it always was. Let it be
spoken without effect, without a trace of shadow on it.

Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same that it ever was, there is unbroken continuity. Why should i be out
of mind because I am out of sight.I am waiting for you,
somewhere very near-just around the corner....

All is well

Hi Jenny. That is so beautiful and comforting too. I am going to print it up and frame it.I hope the message has brought you comfort. Losing a loved one is like losing a part of yourself. We are forced to go on and cope with the loss.
Remember that we all are here for you to listen and we care.It takes time to heal and we have no choice but to keep going.
I lost my husband 2 yrs and 3 months ago and have made it through but it has been terribly difficult. It is better now. Of course I think of him and so many things remind me of him.
My whole life is different. I have a different job and am taking classes for my certificate needed for the job.I already took half the course and the other half starts April 1st.I love the job I have. That sure helps.
I sure miss the sweet things my husband would say and the way he made me laugh. He would have adored the great granddaughter who just turned a year old.The 3 yr old granddaughter still talks about ''Grandpa'' and no one can figure out how she remembers. The other 17 grandchildren adored him too.I am comforted by the words on your plaque. May God bless you. Take care.

It is do true
by: M Mack

Jenny, thanks for sharing those beautiful words. I felt they were sent here just for me. Today is 19 months since our last very passionate kiss, tomorrow the anniversary of his death. It is real, it is so sad and I'm still living in a world of his spirit. I know he's waiting for me in eternity. Until them I survive as you- on hope and prayer to hang on through the journey. Until we meet again. My best to you and thanks again.

All is well

Jenny,
I too felt that was beautiful. After my husband died, one of my sister-in-laws gave me that saying on two prayer cards. She also lost her husband, my husbands younger brother, and I have both of my prayer cards close; one on my night stand by my husbands picture and one in the livingroom, on the end table by my recliner. I take it often and read it. It helps me to remember, my husbands body is gone, but his spirit will be with me forever, until the day, God calls me to join him.
Thank you for sharing it with everyone. My husband died on June 27, 2011, my grief is still with me everyday.

quote

Jenny the quote is very comforting. At times I feel as though my son's spirit is with me. I've always wanted to visit Ireland. That's part of my family heritage. There is also another quote "Irish Blessing" that is one of my favorites...."May the roads always rise to meet you, may the winds be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face,......? And until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand." I'll have to look that up again and write it down so I won't forget it. Blessings to you!:)
