Always and Forever

I lost my Mom March 2 2010, to Cancer. She passed away almost a year after having been diagnosed with lung cancer, but at 82 and already suffering from other health related issues, standard chemo type treatment was not an option.
My Mom was always a very outspoken, vibrant, full of life woman who never let any obstacle stand in her way. She was an avid golfer, an artist and my best friend.
Although every middle aged person prepares themselves the best they can for the day when they lose their parents, it does not make it any easier.
I find my Mom in my dreams mostly every night and find a great deal of comfort in that. I know she is at peace, but I miss her terribly and still after 2 years, often think, "oh I have to call Mom and tell her such and such," and then sadly remember she isn't there to call anymore.
I am so sorry for everyone who has lost their Mom and thank you for giving me an opportunity to write about her. <3
