Because of God's Gift

If I never felt another ray of sunshine or another drop of rain ever caressed this face of mine

An awesome God you still are
Because of your gift of Bryon

Every day I will remember his handsome face
He was mine for a while and by your Amazing Grace
You used my body to bring his life into this earthly place

Because of your suffering and paying the price
He entered Heaven with Your love in his eyes

Oh for Your grace while I am left here
To suffer this terrible pain I must bear
It is so easy to wish that I was just not here
Even to take measures to draw that ending ever near

Yet in this world we must suffer grief and pain

Endurance we find by the power of Jesus' name
Bring me home when it is time
My life on earth will end
by Your will and not mine.
