Beloved Buckshot

by Katie Angell
(San Antonio TX USA) heart heart

My dog was a pit bull. Most people are afraid of them, and in some places they are illegal to own; but I'll never have any other kind of dog. My Buckshot easily earned a Canine Good Citizen title from the American Kennel Club - he's was as smart as they come. But it wasn't just his intelligence. His heart, his drive and those eyes. Those eyes that could look right into your soul. He was wise, in a way even most people aren't. He was everything to me and all I had. But all I ever wanted too, he was perfect. He was loved. He was so loved-by everyone who knew him.
The dam cancer got him and took him from me after 12 years that just flew by. I'll never be the same. RIP Buckshot CGC; you take part of my heart with you and I look forward to the day we are together again. Mommy loves you Bucky!

Sorry for your loss
by: Loxes mamma

Thank you for your kind words. I miss my Loxe so much, it seems to get even more lonely as the days go by.....I'm sure it's the same for you with the loss of your beloved friend... Pitbulls are the most loving, faithful friends, so happy you had a friend as special as Buckshot. I also wonder if he's watching me, or if he lies down with me at night, I can feel and smell him heart is broken
Take care of yourself
Maybe Buckshot and Loxe are playing together at the rainbow bridge.

RIP Buckshot

I'm so very sorry for your loss, I know nothing I can say will lessen your grief, just know there are others who will share your pain. He was a beautiful dog! And I know he'll be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge! Look under the poem section at this site, there is a poem called 'I only wanted you' you should read, I copied it and have it hanging in my office. It still makes me cry every time I read it, but it is beautiful and definitely describes our feelings!

God love you, and also Bucky. There's a special place in heaven for him, and some day you will be together again! I know this. Peace and love always.
