Cancer took her life

by Grace Field
(Nevada)

The best mama in the world.

The best mama in the world.

She was only 49 when she passed away on August 19th, 2009. I was right there beside her during her last battling moments of fighting with cancer. Holding her hand, I saw her last breath and broke down. She'd been suffering for a while, and I'm only 15. I knew she was free from pain, but I lost my mom.

She had been diagnosed with breast cancer (just one little lump) and they got rid of it. They said she had virtually no chance of getting it back. Well, 3 years later it comes back as stage 4 terminal cancer of the liver and bones.

I know now she's looking over me, my sister, and my dad. I love her so much and I feel so empty, but I know that she wants me to be happy that she's free and in God's arms.

A lovely woman
by: Anonymous

You are being so brave. Your Mum would be so proud.
She looks like such a lovely, lovely woman.

My own mother died in June of this year and her birthday was the same day your mother died.

We were both going through such a painful time in different parts of the world.
My heart goes out to you.
