cancer took my Rosie.

Today is the saddest day of my life.
My little sister lost the battle with cancer.
I know she is with the angels above.
She died about 8 hours ago and I am still
In shock. I don't understand how cancer can
Kill you with in 8 days.???? That is how long
She lasted in hospital.. A hospital that neglected
Her severe pain and did not start treating the cancer

Doctors. Nurses are so heartless. Most are
Young residents that are just so
Inexperienced. I love my sister Rosie and
I miss bugging her by texting her every single thing
I would do. Rest in heaven.. Please make me strong.

cancer took my Rosie
by: Doreen U.K.

Veronica I am so sorry for your loss of your sister Rosie to this ugly Cancer. More and more people are losing their lives to this disease. I never thought that cancer would visit our family. My husband died 15 months ago of this dreadful disease. He was in severe pain and it was so painful to watch someone I loved just fade away before my eyes. What I experienced is as cruel as this disease.
You say that Rosie was neglected and left in a lot of pain. This is disgusting. MY story is so horrendous that I am still suffering from this neglect and pain my husband had to be in. Imagine me phoning the emergency doctor to come out and give my husband an injection for the pain and they wait till their clinic was finished. So my husband in severe pain had to wait more than 3hrs. I got fed up fighting battles for better medical care. But the grief over this is as painful along with grieving his death. I understand how you feel. I could scream. I have discovered that most doctors and nurses don't like what is happening to our medical services. They want to get on with the job of caring but the government is interfering and making matters worse and so the doctors end up shuffling paper because every referral or patient has a mountain of forms attached to their case. So the paper filling in comes even before a patient is seen. It is not getting better either as the new problems are that their is a lack of funding and resources to give better care. In many cases now they won't recusitate someone who is terminally ill with cancer. They just try to make them comfortable for death. I am sorry for your loss.
