Daddy dearest

by Ally
(Melbourne, Australia )

I use to call him daddy dearest it was our thing. He passed away 3/12/11. He was 81 years old and had suffered ill health for many years. I was the hardest thing to watch him in the dying process. It hurts so much still and I just feel so lonely and that no one understands what I am going through.

I also lost my father inlaw 2 months later so when I really needed my partner to comfort me he was busy watching his father die. I don't hold it against him but I wish he could have been there more for me and I wish I was in a better frame of mind to help him and his family.
