Daddy Don't Leave Me

I'm 16 years old and my dad just died. It was unexpected and devastating. Hr died from an undiagnosed lung disease. I loved him do much and I don't know how to deal with his loss. I feel like I took his love for granted. I used to ignore him or give him a lot of attitude. I really wish I would have spent more time with him. I love him so much and I just hope he knew that. I wish he could see me graduate. And if I get married who will walk me down the isle? He was so supportive of me in everything I did. He was at every dance recital, soccer game and gymnastics meet. I miss him so much and this just hurts so bad. I don't want him to leave me I need him. I don't know what to do. I know he's in heaven and in a better place but I only got 16 years with my daddy. I need guidance and advice this hurts too much. I'll always love you daddy<3

I'm really sorry to hear of your loss
by: Mark

You are taking the first step of griefing just by talking about your loss, some times its really hard todo this as I am going though the griefing now as I have lost my dad, times will be hard but remember, he will aways be with you no matter what. And he would not want you to beat yourself up about all the things you have done wrong, its a learning curf and I am sure he understands the ressons. But I am really sorry that your dad has passed away. Think of all the great times you have had with him and hold your head up high.

Im sorry for your loss
by: Jeff

Im so sorry for your loss at such a young age. I lost my father when i was 13 suddenly so i know partly what you are feeling. Don't worry that you gave your father attitude sometimes, it is really insignificant. He obviously loved you very much and arguing with parents is just part of growing up. All that matters is that you become successful and happy; thats what your father would have wanted.

Daddy Don't Leave Me

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad at such a young age of 16. It is such a terrible loss to one so young. Grief is a hard road for any of us but when one is so young it is harder. Do you have any uncles? or any male members in your family for support at this time. You sound all alone as if you don't have anyone.
This is a very sad time for you. If you don't have anyone. Seek out a grief counsellor to help support you through this grief. The burden will be less. To lose a parent at any time is difficult but when one is so young it is much harder.
Surround yourself with loving people. Go to church or beleive in God. this will help.
