Missy you will never ever get over the loss of your Dad. I am sorry for your loss. You will however each day be a little closer to HEALING. Our dad's are a vital part of our life. Even if you weren't nurtured from a very young age, you did get the chance to bond with him and enhance each other's life.
I am happy for you that your Dad walked you down the aisle and saw you get married.
My husband managed to see our eldest son of 43yrs. get married in a CASTLE in England and he died 6 months ago. The sadness is that he won't see our middles daughter's 2 children grow up. Life does lose its meaning for some time while we grieve our loss. There is no short cut to get over grief. We have to soldier on and hope that God is looking down and will bring us COMFORT & HEALING.
