My gorgeous stepson joshua died on the 3rd october 2011 he had angelman syndrome a condition similar to autism he was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and a life threatening heart condition. unfortunately he took turn for the worst and passed away he was such a beautiful boy im not sure how im coping tbh i dnt think its really hit home tht we aint gonna c him again my hubby is in the denial stage its so hard to no wot to do
I am so sorry for loosing 14 year old Josh. My heart goes to you.I lost my 14 year old daughter Delight sep 23 2011. She was fine and was walking to a soccer practice she collapsed on our st and suffered a sudden cardiac death.just thinking about the flowers Josh bought you is such a joyful memory.be encouraged by those little nice thingshe did. I also lost my beautiful son Josh 17/08/2011 we still dont know how he died still waiting on the Coroner. Iam so angry he didnt do anyone any harm he was loved by all. We were and still are blessed with 2 beautiful children.I used to tell people that i couldnt of wished for 2 great kids and Josh was a wonderful boy .I miss him buying me flowers every week he knew all i wanted for my Bday and Mothers Day was flowers. Im sorry for your loss as well and it not getting any better for me.xx Karen.....

I'm sorry about the loss of your son Josh. It is very early still for you. I'm 14 months into the loss of my 23 year old son from leukemia and there are days when I still wonder how I climb out of bed. If you have a Compassionate Friends group near you I highly recommend them. I go once a month and share my grief with other parents who have also lost a child. It's been very helpful. Sending loving hugs your was as you walk this painful journey. Shirley
