Footstep's

by Shannon Barclay Adams
(Morgan Hill,Calif. U.S.A.)

Footsteps

Please don't think of me, and cry.
For on this earth, isn't where I lie.
If ever your standing under a tree,
Ill fill your heart, with visions of me.

Just close your eyes, and you will see.
A beautiful light, above and free.
You may not see my footsteps,
in the sand, Or feel me as,
I hold your hand.

As you say your prayers tonight,
Ill be right there within your sight.
If ever you need me, and want to call.
Look towards heaven, and a dime shall fall.

Even though I cant stop time.
The sun will shine, within that dime.
So pick it up, and hold it tight.
Then you'll know,
it will be alright.

Forever Mom
