Grandpa and Great Aunt Lost in 2010!

by Coralee
(Saskatchewan, Canada)

Well I have been wondering where things were going, Valentines day was a great day, with my grandpa who was in the Hospital. Three days later I got a phone call from my brother saying that Grandpa passed away. It felt like an arrow that shot me in the heart. The tears and the fears came and still are coming. That was Ash Wednesday, wow what a blessing to go and be with Jesus that night. So what a hard way to start LENT! But it just got better! It was a blessed LENT! I felt so much that Jesus and Grandpa were there for me through that whole time...

Then after Easter, Grandpa's sister Eva died the 14 of April. Funny dates; anyways maybe this is God trying to say something about the 14 of each month. But I was there to watch her die. What a blessing it was to hear the bells ringing in heaven when the angels came to hear her... That was a beautiful thing to have witnessed!! But I feel the grief and the sadness, but that is not all, it's the loneliness and rejection as well. They are reunited in Heaven with Jesus but still I miss them so much and they were so close together!!

REST IN PEACE LOUISE AND EVA!! WE MISS YOU!

I want to thank you for this story of yours you shared. My dad died the 7th of last month, but the way you put it makes me think about how dad was there with Christ on the day of Easter, looking down at me. thank you so much.
