Guardian Angels

My grandmother on my mom's side was diagnosed with Parkinson disease almost 20 years ago and was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She passed away on April 29th of 2013. She was a very loving and sweet southern lady that touched all the lives that she was able to be involved in. Today May 29th, my grandma on my dads side passed away also. She had recently been diagnosed with a terrible cancer and was a former breast cancer survivor. She also touched many lives that she was able to be involved in. Both of these grandmothers were mother figures to me and there for me when i needed anything. I know that they are up in heaven and are watching over me now and that seems to comfort me the most during these times.

I am sorry for your loss of both your grandmother's ( Your Guardian Angels ). It is so hard when we lose our guardians that nurture us and put into us what we need to live and survive in life. These people who moulded and shaped who you are will leave such a terrible loss in your life no matter what age you are.
I used to sit in my comfort zone and be content with life and wondered if one day I would lose this security and feeling of well being. When we lose loved one's from our lives we wonder how we will go on in life. I also lost loved ones and wonder how I can face another day. But we have no choice but to go on without those who made a difference to our lives and helped us be who we are today. All you and any of us can do is take one day at a time till we can make it on our own. It is a harsh place to be in grief. I hope you have a good support structure to help you cope with grief and I hope your days ahead will get easier.

So sorry to hear about your two Grandmothers. Your in my thoughts. Please let the thought that they are in Heaven now, comfort you because I believe that too and that comforts me also. At your lowest times, think of that and where they are. They are looking down on you. God Bless Jan xx
