How do I love thee? let me count the months...7/6/10

by Hope
(Tappahannock VA.)

My Love,

It has been 7 months and my love for you has not lessened. You left me to carve out a new life and I am trying.

I know that you're up there, My guardian angel, keeping an eye out for boo and I. Helping me though this grief, so debilitating.

I can think...(a little)

I can function...(a little)

I can see some beauty...(there is so much to see, I wish you were here to see it too)

I can make our son smile...(he can help me smile back)

The seasons pass like salt on a wound yet...

The squash that you tried to plant came up this year. (Is that a miracle I deem it one)

Life without you is Hard SO VERY Hard

How I wish, How I wish you were here...

Hope

a little bit at a time
by: Jenny

Hope,

What you say is so true. We do continue as best we can and my children carve a routine that i am grateful for.

Stay strong, and keep it going as you say a little bit at a time.

Thinking of you,

Jenny xx

Just when I needed you most
by: Teresa

Do you remember that old song? That's how I feel at the very time I needed him in my life MOST he's gone.

I'm so sorry for you loss and for all the well meaning people who make it worse with "he's in a better place". Well, yeah but I'm still here in this place, our place. And for the "it'll get better with time".???????? HUH????? The longer he's gone, and I'm here alone the less I'll like it!

I wish the best for you. I wish I could bring him back because I know that's the only way out of the pain.

I wish I could make things different for both of us. Alas, we wake up every day wondering how to get through this day? Best wishes to you.
Teresa
