How long the grief

by Walter t. Brzezinski
(Hellertown, Pa)

One year of grief has now past,

My thoughts my tears still not my last,

Each drop is smaller, each memory less,

No guarantee, I must confess,

A loving couple, a favorite tune,

To see the beach, the summer soon,

Her face appears,my tear ducts fill,

To much love, remains there still,

Most grievers say, to my belief,

T he more the love, the more the grief.

W.T.B.
