I Am All That ~ A Daughter's Presence

The Redwood Theater ~ Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve

The Redwood Theater ~ Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve

I am the forest,
I am the trees,
I am the branches,
And I am the leaves.

I am the butterfly,
hovering o'er the forest floor,
I am the raven at the gate,
guarding the forest door.

I am the hummingbird,
fluttering softly on the wind,
And I am the honey bee,
buzzing busily upon the breeze.

I am the mourning dove,
singing to the sun,
I am the song of the nightingale,
when the day is finally done.

I am the laughter you can hear,
in the childrens' daily play,
I am a seamstress of the Goddess,
weaving the rainbow light of day.

I am the forest,
I am the trees,
I am the branches
and I am the leaves.

I am all that now,
And I am so much more,
I'm the one who stands
knocking, upon imagination's door.

(as channeled through her grieving mother,
on July 12th & 13th, 2009 in a sacred redwood grove)

Still feeling their presence...
by: A heart breaking for a friend

I want to thank you for the beautiful words you shared in, "I am all that". My best friend lost her beloved pet... I know for some, it doesn't compare, but she was her child. Her and her husband had no children, except their pets, who were loved as deeply as any parent could love a child.
We're spreading the ashes today and I hope in honor of your daughter and the shared love - lost... it'll be alright that we read this at the service.
May you gain more strength everyday, to live for your daughter and feel her presence all around, in the beauty God surrounded us with.
Thanks ~ JC
