I CAN LOVE DEEPLY!

by Lois
(Minneapolis,minnesota)

My Dog was 17 years old, I tried to treat her for her cystitis with antibiotics. The Vet said after taking an X-Ray, she had a tumor. I did Palliative Care for her.

I stayed with her til her final last breath. It was hard but I was glad. Because after raising two children by myself, then I got a Cockapoo. She was loyal, pleasing and an awesome dog. I'm having a hard time with her dying. I felt that I would go online to see what can reach
out to read to help me with this, as I'm having a real hard time.

If only everyone could learn from a dog, Loyalty, Trusting, Love, Unconditional etc. Happy and very much a very 'Good Friend.' I understand that people don't understand. But I know what it is to be loving & loyal to an animal, and that is an asset that she got & I received back from her.

I understand
by: Lindy

I just lost my loyal old dog too. Reading all the people's posts including yours makes me know I am not crazy to feel this deeply. They were our best buddies... our shadows. I miss my constant companion. I miss his sweet face and unconditional love. I am grieving deeply too.
Think of you, praying for you, as you grieve.
