I Lost my Hero on 01/13/2011 My Dad :(

by Christine Schnaufer
(Aurora IL,)

My Dad was my Hero, My Mentor and my Best friend, He was the sweetest person you will ever meet, with the best heart. Always willing to help anyone no matter what it was as much as he could, he was of Christian faith and worshiped God, he was ALWAYS there for us and my Mom no matter what, on December 26th2010 My Dad had a stroke this was also my little sisters Birthday, than the journey began, we got the worst news ever, He was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer after that we had him for 19 days and he passed away on Thursday January 13,2011 at age 60 it was the worst day of my life but I know hes up in Heaven cancer free and happy, he fought so hard he was always a hard worker I look at is that the cancer may have taken him away from me but I have amazing memories that it can NEVER take away from me I miss him more than anything every singe day I cry alot he was just such an amazing person I try to keep positive and know one day we will reunite again, I Love You Dad, R.I.P. Dennis Schnaufer (Dad) I love you, Gone but NEVER forgotten xoxo <3

God Bless you
by: Ruth M

Hello,
You are so young to have such a loss and I hope that you stay close to God as your Dad would have wanted you to do. Remember that you might get mad at God and thats ok, just keep talking to him even if its to tell him you are mad.

I know your Dad is looking over you now and will be able to help you in ways he never could before, really.

I am so glad that you had the experience of having a Dad that loved his Father in Heaven, so many of us wish we had that. You are now someone who I will pray for God to keep close to Him.

Warmest Regards,
Ruth Mattucci
