I lost my sister severay years ago ..My Angel

The pain has never gone away. I wrote this poem for her I would like to share with you. I also published it as a song.

My Angel


As I look into the heavens,
Piercing through a cloud,
Sometimes I think I see you
Laughing there out loud

I know it's just a dream,
But still it helps to get me through;
As nothing seems the same
Since I last said goodbye to you.

I know that you are happy,
And are watching over me;
And I know the pain and sadness
Now is gone, and you are free.

In my heart I have an album
That I dedicate to you,
Filled with images and memories
And times shared by us two.

It is with me as I walk along
The road of life each day,
And I know that you are with me
In each step along the way.

With all that you have taught me
Stored here deep within my heart,
You're so much in my memories
I know we'll never part.

You have always been my angel,
Now at last you have your wings.
Now you travel through the heavens
As God's angel choir sings.
