I was the last person she looked and talked too...
my siblings and i with my grandmother
On my 16th birthday, my Grandma (71) who was battling Congestive Heart Failure, passed away.
The day began slow, she lives an hour away and she wanted to come up to our house to attend our birthday party that night. My uncle, who is over dramatic, said she was acting funny and he was worried, we let it slide because she.said she was fine. So we collected her things and set off for our birthday lunch. During lunch she started " falling asleep" we ordered he coffee but when the coffee came she couldn't open her eyes. My mom.called me over and I said her name, she opened her eyes and said I love you all. By the tike the ambulance.came she was un responsive, her heart stopped in the parking lot but they got it started again. In the parking of the.hospital her.heart stopped.and they.couldn't get it.started again. They continued trying but she.was gone. I lost me grandmother at.4:08pm on my 16th birthday.
No matter what I do I can't.get the look.she gave me or what she.said out of my mind. I miss her so much.
