Im Sorry

by Lisa
(Fort White FL)

You picked me out of a million other children, you disregarded that i was 10 years old. You loved me and nurtured me when anyone else would have walked away. I shut you out, said things i shouldn't have and pushed you away. Now it's too late. Too late to say im sorry. Now its too late..too late to say I cared. Now its too late...too late to say I love you. Now its too late..too late to say thank you for being the best daddy any orphaned girl could ever dream of!

I love you daddy and i am so so so very sorry. Russell Harvey died 11-9-2010 in Dumaguete City Philippines. A placed that he really loved!

JUST A CHILD
by: Anonymous

Don't be so hard on yourself. You were a little child. Being orphaned, life surely wasn't kind to you and you were hurting. Parents understand this.
When we get a child, no matter what route it takes to get to us, it doesn't come with an instruction manual. As parents, we are learning also. You're special, one of a kind. That's how God made you. Your dad understands, he loves you just the same and watching over you now. Bless you.

From a mom's point of view
by:

Ya know all kids say things hurtful and otherwise that they don't mean, and as a parent we know that. I try to tell them that you can't take it back so that they will not use hurtful words against others.

But in the end we know that you love us and are merely trying to teach you to treat others as you would like to be treated.
