I'm Still Mad at Her

by Carol Covin
(Bristow, Virginia)

I'm still mad at my sister-in-law.

What a loss. She was beautiful, smart, funny, loving, could make a home look like it was ready for a magazine shoot and remembered every present she ever gave you.

But, her skill at taking care of others did not extend to being able to take care of herself, or even accept the help she so clearly needed.

I miss her.

And, I'm still angry at her loss.

I know...

I am not sure what happened to your sister-in-law. And I would like to help you feel better. I will not push I will not shove your thoughts just know that we are here to listen at all hours of the night and day when your heart feels especially heavy. Let it out when you feel like it. Read of other grief so that you know that you are not alone. Remember to take it one day one breath at a time.
