I miss my dad
by: Alice

Rita, I'm so sorry for your loss . I also lost my father last August and I also can't stop crying . My father had diabetes and had to have his leg amputated and I was with him seven day a week , eight hours a day and have so much guilt because he hated the hospital that he was in and I chose it because it was closer to my home. The day before he passed away the nurses had to retrain him and I know he was trying to tell me something . I regret not taking them off. There are so many things I wish I would of done differently . My dad was a retired police Sargent and everytime I see a policeman I cannot stop crying. My dad was not my biological father but he was MY dad and he was the funniest man always telling jokes and I miss that the most. Rita you have to put a picture of your dad in your house and light a candle and talk to him and cherish his memories . I wish I could have one more day with dad to tell him how much I love him. Im planning on making a memorial with the " Lady of Guadalupe " statue in his memory. Please Rita remember good times and cherish his memories and reading other stories has helped me because we are not only ones who loved our dads so much. My prayers are with you that the lord comforts you through your loss. Keep in touch Alice
