IN MEMORY OF COCO WHO LEFT US SUDDENLY - I MISS HER

I have just lost my cat Coco July 16, 2010. She was 16 years old and we all loved her. She was the mother of my other cats, Thomas and Edward and I helped her give birth to them and when they were kittens, she would lay on my lap, and they would jump up and nurse. It was truly a wonderful experience, and she trusted me completely and so I felt very special - two mothers together.

She almost became like a person, as Siamese cats do - they chat - and I would chat back. If I asked her to sit - she would - she was the most unique cat I have had and I have had a total of 6 over the last 30 or so years. We buried her in the garden and I feel better about that, feel as if she is still with us at home. I am thankful I had the privilege of having her for 16 years.

When she was born, the owner who had the mother cat and kittens, got rid of the kittens by leaving them outside and my friend found them and that is how I got her and she has had a very special life, loved by everyone. I might add that it was a coyote that took her from the garden - she was a healthy cat.

Coco is the Chocolate Point Siamese/tabby cat - the other two are her sons. Thanks it helped to write this down.

What a beautiful girl, your Coco
by: Anna

Dear Sue,
Thank you for the story about your beautiful Coco (and her boys). I can understand how much you would miss your 'chats' with her! My own boy Monty (altho not a Siamese) certainly talked up a storm, and yes, that's one thing I miss the very most. I am glad for you, that she is still in your garden, as is my Monty. I now go out and talk to him....it sure helps ease the ache just a bit. I hope that talking with her, in her resting spot, will ease your ache as well. And here's a special wish that Thomas & Eddie are not missing her too badly.
