In your Heart... Let me help you.

by Wendy Haines

In your heart – for those who have lost someone close.

I will always be in your heart; no one can take me away,
Your heart will expand, with the love of life, people and things that you love, what matters,
Never fear you will always have a space for me, that special place where I will always be.
I am still here with you.

Look at the stars when you feel alone, take a big breath, I am only at home,
Look for the brightest star you will see me shining down on you, always watching over you.
On a cloudy night I am only resting, feel my presence I will comfort you,
I am still here with you.

The sun will shine tomorrow – warm your heart and feel my presence,
Your day doesn’t just look brighter, It is brighter, I am shining down on you.
I am still here with you,

Don’t be afraid, your tears of sadness are only tears of fondness,
Smile for me, be strong for me, and be there for me, as I am here for you,
And with you, watching you, guiding you and looking after you.
I am here with you

Think of me in that same old way; talk with me as you always did, feel my love as it runs so
deep ;as that will never change,
Because that place in your heart is where you’ll find me,
That’s my home where I will always be.
I am always here with you.

In your heart...Let me help you

Beautiful. I have to hold on to those words tight, everyday, and believe them from the bottom of my heart. I lost my 38 year old son, only child, almost 3 years ago. It still hurts so much. I actually still wait for him. I have to remind myself everyday that he is home. I tell God I want to come home to. God reminds me that when its time for me to go home, He will take me by the hand and guide me there. Until that time I will be here with the rest that are waiting to go home. There are people that still need us. Thank-You for the comforting words. God Bless
