Jane just not a great Mom but my guiding angel

Aug 19th 14 heaven invited my mom to come home. The past few days have been a struggle. Being on earth we are the ones who grieve the losses, she is fine now and happy I now must move on and and review my own life. No more phone calls just to check in. ( I miss those), it took me along time to look at Mom as a person with her own growing pains and her own spiritual journey. I was 35 when I finally realized this. She lost her parents by age 14 so she never had the blessing I received from her. How did she know what to do? How did she have a unique relationship with all 7 of us making each one of us feel special? She was an amazing Nurse as well. The services where not traditional just a gathering of her co workers, families and friends sharing stories of her loving life and the people she had encouraged or mentored along the road. She would have loved it. Now may my journey continue with the lessons mom left me and may I touch the world with love and uniqueness just as she had.

Your beautiful Tribute
by: Anonymous

My Dear Carol, I want to thank you for the wonderful and uplifting tribute you have written here for your mum. Jane must have indeed been a special woman to have raised such a caring spiritual person as yourself. My beloved mum joined the angels on 17th May this year - easily the worst day of my life. I feel though that despite the fact it was a sudden death and mum was not prepared to die I know she is back in the arms of my father and grandmother. Love never dies it is all we have to face life with and is ultimately the strongest weapon of all. Like you Carol I so miss the telephone calls! Sadly I am an only child so I have to carry the memories of my wonderful family deep within and try and give my son the same unconditional love, values and humour my parents gave me.I believe, despite not having had parental guidance on earth from her own parents, your mum received it from heaven. The legacy your mum has left on earth is her huge contribution to the world and you, your children and grandchildren will spread spirituality and love to others. Have faith and strength Carol. Your mum is much closer than you think. Continue to carry her torch and make her proud. My loving thoughts are with you - Debi XX
