jeff

by jeff mclemore
(madison nc)

My dad passed away on 10/10/10, he was 72 and had leukemia which he fought valiantly for 3 years. Pneumonia finally took him from our presence. He never complained and thanked GOD every day for a day he was not promised. Dad left this world wanting to live, but assured of where he was heading if he did not. He held no grudges and was an inspiration to those remaining.

I miss my dad who was also my coworker and best friend. He showed me how i should live by the very process of his dying. I loved my dad and though i told him all the time, i still feel like i did not tell or show him enough. My wife and i cared for dad for the last 15 months of his life and it was an honor. I wish he were still here. I hope he finds all the love and compassion from God now that i wont be able to express any more to him.

Heaven got and Angel

So sorry to hear about this. I know how close you were to your dad. He was a wonderful person and you Jeff take after him. Your dad had the biggest heart. I remember working for the both of you and how kind you were to me. I have never seen two harder working individuals.

For Jeff
by: Mari

Jeff, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad sounds like he was a wonderful person and he loved the Lord too. Indeed he is with the Lord now and someday you will have a grand reunion in heaven.

God is compassionate but he is more then that. He loves us and gave his only son for us so that we might have a chance to live forever with him in paradise, no sickness, no sorrow. Apparently your dad knew this and found comfort in knowing.
Not only were you blessed with a dad like that but he was blessed to have you and your wife caring for him. No one could ask for more at a time like that.

Your reward will be great.

I know this is a difficult time for you. Just remember to keep posting on this wonderful board. Everyone cares. Whatever is on your mind and heart can be expressed, which is actually part of the healing process. It takes time but I have a feeling you can do it. You will have wonderful memories too. God bless you.

Sorry for your loss
