Jim White

by Mom & Pop

My darling son, Jim I know you are with me even though you are with Jesus.
I cry tears of loneliness not sorrow as you lived a good life as you often told me. As a little boy you were happy and all life thru you were too. You always left us laughing at some nutty thing you said or did. Some say you lost the battle to cancer but I say you were victorious as it led you straight to God and for that I know you will never die but live eternally in God's Presence.

Christmas won't be the same this year,
Our son has left for newness of life
And though we shed our tears,
We know he's with our Savior
And never will feel pain it's gone!

We love you and will join you and Robert on that Heavenly Shore soon....Pop & Mom

To Jimbo

I miss you and recall all the things you said to me.
You grew up very happy, tho I was too remiss.
I left you when I should have been with you all instead of taking care of someone else's children. Forgive me, Jim, as it was to earn enough money to keep us all together. Your dad had left us and it was all I could do. Later I worked, when we came back to the city to live, in the nursing home that was too far away from home. Most of all, I remember the words I said when you left home. "This is MY home". You answered, "But this is my home, mom". May you and God forgive all the mistakes I made.

I watched your video again today and cried out of my loneliness for you. Tho I know you are never far from us. I miss seeing you eat the sauerbraton and things you loved to have when I cooked them for you. Remember how we laughed together when we talked of Robert eating it on the way home from Ga.? It will be a sad Christmas for us this year. Pop and I miss our dear Jimbo and Robert so much. May you and Robbie have a joyous Christmas with our dear Lord and remember us too..............Pop & Mom
