La Bella

La Bella

How many people do you meet that put you at complete ease and peace, meanwhile being hilarious and out of control?

That was Jocelyn. She could make the funniest voices, the best little drawings, everything she touched had a spark of magic in it. She was passionate about animals and nature.

She was always changing her mind, and wanted to make a difference in the world. One day she was a counselor for troubled kids, the next she wanted to go to "outdoors" school, (whatever that was) then she finally decided on beauty school. She definitely had a knack for style and when I confronted her on this, saying that she could help people instead, her response was something like "I'm helping them not be ugly!"

Like I said, she was hilarious. And she was my best friend. My sister. I don't have many really close friends and for me to allow someone to get as close to me as she did, they'd have to be pretty special. And she was in so many ways. From ghost hunting and diving into the occult, to her multitude of beautiful sketches, and the insane fun air that circulated around her. She could stop and start an entire party on a whim. She was a sparkle in a bag of coal.

Yes, Jen.........good friends are very slim....
And as you get older, each chapter of your life, you'll meet so many people, some good & some just plain not.......then there will be a few rotters.
But friends like your Jocelyn........extremely precious & extremely rare !

God Bless !
