Jules - Update
Well - nearly three years ago I would ever have believed that I would be where I am today. And I have this site to thank for helping me get to this point in my life.
My husband died suddenly in November 2009, while we were travelling with our caravan in Qld. It was a great shock, but finding this site was my lifesaver. It gave me a chance to express my grief at any time of the day or night, and to read other peoples stories and how they were coping.
Now, almost three years later - my life has done a complete turnaround - I have met the most amazing man, caring, loving, affectionate and just simply gorgeous!
We have fitted together like parts of a jigsaw puzzle, and hope to be together till the end of time.
We are travelling full time in our motorhome (RV) - throughout this great country, I never thought I would ever meet someone with my same passion for this country, but I have. We are happy moving from place to place with no real home at all - of course we have bases at our familie's homes, but we live in our motorhome - and we love it.
I have seen friends who have lost their husbands or partners not having the means to make new lives for themselves even after 5 or 10 years. It is so sad. This is not to say that I have forgotten my husband, or that I didn't love him enough - it is that I am living my life the best way I can, and the way I believe my husband would expect me to -
My children are happy for me, as are my friends and other family.
You can be happy again - if you believe you can!
