Just Mean.

by BARBARA
(TEMECULA,CALIFORNA)

My Mom Theresa Louise Williams just passed away Feb 4, 2010 in lansing, Michigan in Hospice with cancer. My Older Brother was moms caretaker. I'm her oldest daughter, visited often as I can. And called, Just mean my brother just informed me Jan 16, 2010 mom had cancer. What...Just mean. Did not know what hospital Mom was in or what was going on. Texted me Mom had 6 months to live. What... was on my way out to Michigan. Text again Mom had 2 weeks... 2days later mom was dead... and will be cremated Feb 11, 2010. Just so mean that nothing was ever said or that mom was that ill, he never said anything.......... and I never got a chance to hold her hand or say good-bye or that you were the best mom ever....I thought maybe writing would help. THIS WAS JUST MEAN.

Karma Runs It Course
by: Down Under

Barbara, my condolences on the loss of your mother. You need to talk to your brother to find out why you were not informed earlier on. She was your mother, regardless of whether it was her request or his doing, you had the right to know that she was ill. Karma will take its place Barbara. I wish you warmth & strength in the time to come. xo

BARBARA IN CALIFORNIA LOST MOTHER
by: Anonymous

BARBARA, I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I'M SORRY
YOU DIDN'T HAVE A CHANCE TO SAY GOODBYE OR SPEND TIME WITH YOUR MOTHER IN HER LAST DAYS.

I LOST MY MOM 7 MONTHS, 4 WEEKS AND 4 DAYS AGO. MY LIFE IS CHANGED FOREVER. THERE'S SOMETHING SO DIFFERENT ABOUT LOSING A MOM. A PART OF YOU GOES WITH HER, BECAUSE YOU ARE PART OF HER. I WAS WITH MY MOM UNTIL SHE PASSED. I'LL NEVER GET OVER THAT. BUT I AM THANKFUL THAT MAYBE SHE REALIZED I WAS THERE.

IT'S SMALL COMFORT, BUT WE THAT LOSE SOMEONE, HAVE OUR OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, NO TWO ARE ALIKE. YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH YOUR GRIEF AS BEST YOU CAN. GOD BLESS YOU AND COVER YOU WITH HEALING WARMTH AND LOVE.

So sorry

I am so sorry for your loss, for the situation.
Your brother had no right to do you that way
unless that was the request of your Mother.
I lost my Mom January 12, 2010. But I was
by her side, we all were, my sister, my Dad
and me. I am so glad that I was. This has been
the most difficult thing of my life. I feel so
lost.

Just know that I do feel your pain and
you are in my prayers and again I am so sorry.
This website has really been a help to me.
