Jynx

Jynx was my special baby, a beautiful little black cocker spaniel. He had the quirkiest personality and did things that made me laugh constantly. He also never left my side if he could help it.
Last night he followed my husband outside to take out the trash, making sure my husband was safe and everyone in the neighborhood knew that Jynx was the boss, I'm sure. But then he darted out into the street in front of a truck. He was gone before we ever even got him back into the house.
Now I feel like I'll never be happy again and my world is just crumbling around me and there's nothing I can do about it. If I had just trained him better, if the gate would have latched properly, if it hadn't been dark so he couldn't be seen. So many ifs and why didn't I's, and it's all my fault.
He was an amazing little boy with a personality bigger and more animated than most people I know. He'd been with me since he was two months old and that just gave us a little over a year together but it's a year I'll never forget.
Rest easy, my baby. I'll always love you.

I understand what you are going through
by: Carolyn

Im so sorry to hear about your baby Jynx. My baby girl Paisley had to be put to sleep one week ago today. The pain is unbelievable. I know how you are feeling. My dog was only 3 years old. She had acute kidney failure. It seems so unfair. I loved her so much. The first few days I couldn't hardly get out of bed. Now, I feel numb and depressed. These feelings are very real. We loved our pets because they were our family. Take care and know I understand where you are coming from.

Jynx Is A Beauty
by: Geoffrey Campbell

Your letter about Jynx touched my heart, I know the pain, believe me I do. I lost my Barnie over 30 years ago, and I still miss him because he loved me, and was a very rare best friend. Thank you for telling us about what a wonderful dog Jynx is. Don't forget too, that though many Pastors are not wise enough to know this, (I learned from experience) but loving faithful dogs will greet their owners on the new earth, for God is love, and He knows heaven would not be heaven without your Jynx.
