No one should judge anything, it is all in God's hands now.I can't even imagine what HE is going through either, knowing he is responsible for the death of a child. It was a horrible, horrible, accident, I wish there was a way to go back and change things, but what is done is done. Please accept my condolences, I'll pray for both of you!

My fiancé well I don't want people to judge him but he's in jail for involuntary manslaughter and probation violation on child support which we had his daughter 50% of the time please don't judge he was the best dad to our son

I feel so sad for you. I ask God to be with you to give you strength to move forward one breath, one second one day at a time. It's terrible to loose a child and mostly becasue of a senseless action of someone elses poor judgement.. thinking that what he hd to say was more important than the safety of his future family.

You didn't mention what happened to your fiance.

I hope you use this as an opportunity to go out to schools and tell your story in hopes of saving the lives of others.

I wish we could ban phones other than for emergency use only .

I am so sorry for your loss, at the same time I admire you for your courage to increase awareness of how the phone impairs the ability of someone to drive properly. All I wish for you is to be strong and have courage to overcome grief. It is a tough experience but we can draw strength and make changes that will help others not to go through the same pain many of us are going through.

Katie I am sorry for your loss of you baby son Kohen. What a tragedy that could have been avoided. You will be broken forever. You are fortunate to have lived from this accident. Was your fiancé saved from this accident? Are you two still together or did this accident break you up as a couple?
If you are together it may be a good idea to get some grief counselling so as to be able to resolve this tragedy as best as you can. Only then can you both go on with your lives and hope that you will Heal from this loss. If you are a happy couple then try and work this loss out. In time you will be able to forgive him for a human error. In the spur of the moment we can all forget and lose concentration. To drop a phone is one thing. To text and drive is PURE IRRESPONSIBILITY. But ANGER is something that is part of the grief and hard to overcome without the support of a counsellor or God.
I have a 2yrs. old granddaughter and a 4yrs. old grandson who were with me yesterday. They are such a joy and delight I could not bear to lose them which is why your loss is so very real to me. I feel your pain and can offer you my deepest sympathies. May God bring you comfort and strength to get through this loss and grief.
