I reached over last night
No one was there
My bed is so empty
My life is so bare

I stuggle each day
To keep it together
That this could happen
Imagined, I never

We promised each other
Til death do us part
It wasn't your choice
It's broken my heart

I've little to hope for
No more to give
Everything's gone
I don't want to live

I'm too old to change
Too young to die
Without you beside me
I've no strength to try

But like you my love
I don't get to choose
I must live out my life
Win, draw or loose.

I miss you so much
My pain runs so deep
I try to be strong
But continue to weep

Goodnight my love
I'm back off to bed
Another cold night
