Losing both my siblings

by Linda
(Roanoke VA)

There were three of us, My older Sister Susan, myself Linda as the middle child and Wes was my younger brother (6 years between us). My sister died suddenly from a heart attack at the age of 40 and my brother died at the age of 43 - both from different heart issues. My sister's heart attack was sudden and quick and my brother died from a diagnosis of congestive heart failure and within 6 weeks, he was gone. My sister died 12 years ago and my brother just died in July 2012. We were all VERY VERY close and had a connection that was unbelievable. We would have died for each other because of the bond that we had through Jesus Christ. They were both Christians thankfully and I know they are with Jesus in heaven having a party. I still cannot believe they are both gone and I'm still here. I just don't know how this could happen. When my sister died, her boys were 6 and 7 and when my brother died, his boys were 8 and 9 (his oldest son is now 10 - as he turned 10 in August 2012). My brother's oldest son who is 10 has a pacemaker - yes, he is 10 and has a pacemaker. We are seriously looking into genetics and pondering what just happened. I'm still in the stage of "numb" and feel like it can't be true. It just seems to unreal to be true and I'm not able to process it. I guess your body can turn things on or off as needed. My precious Susan and Wes - I love you with all my heart.

Your sister,

Linda - aka Blockhead, Nina Beena (my nicknames)

P.S. - Tell Jesus I said hello.
