Losing my Grandfather to Cancer

About a year ago we found out he had cancer in his throat. He did tons of radiation and doctors were sure cancer was gone. Unfortunately they were wrong. He still had cancer and it had spread. He was moved to palliative care where he was taken care of until he passed away very recently. I miss him so much, but he was a christian so I know he is in heaven now. The hard part is worrying about my grandma. I don't now what she's gonna do.

Twice as Hard for Grandma......
by: TrishJ

I am so sorry for your loss. Cancer is so ugly and draining on the entire family. It's so difficult dealing with all that illness brings into your life. Grandpa is gone....you all need to focus on your grandma.
I lost my husband of 37 years. Thank God my family has been there for me. It's very difficult to say goodbye to your spouse. As hard as it is for you it's twice as bad for your grandma.
Blessings to you all.
