Loss my dear mom

My mom was 96. She was in good mind and enjoy traveling She got sick this past Sept to November with UTI.but got better. We put her in a personal care home but last two weeks. She remember all of us before and after, 'My sister and I went to the smokies and we got a call from my brother she was not doing well and may a decision put in hospice . This was the hardest thing for me to see my mother dying . oh, how I love her and miss her so much. She was my best friend . We were close always together I took care so her so did my sister . I am hard of hearing she was the one that push me to do things that I thought was impossible for me. I wear hearing aids since was in the 6tth grade. She always knew what to tell me and knew how to make me feel better. I was diagnosed with breast cancer almost two year ago and was there for me . I feel like a hole I my heart. I miss her so much. . miss our talk always watch movies together . she love travels. It seems to get harder for me there is not a day go by I will start crying . some days it will just hit me than others days. That all for now

Lost my dear mom

You were very Blessed not only to have had a good mother/daughter relationship, but that your mother lived so such a good age. We on this earth have a very limited life span.
My husband died 10 months ago from cancer at 65yrs. I would have loved him to have lived at least another 20yrs. as his parents died in their late 80's and his siblings are approaching that age. He was the youngest to die in his family. I just live each day without a care of what happens to me. Life will never be the same again. No matter how old the person is who dies the feelings and grief will be the same. WE have the same feeling and emotions of loss that we have to face. You will get through this but for each of us our journey has a different time frame of Healing.
