lost my soulmate 21 Sept 2013
by: Mandy

hi there - im going thru this now with you. My husband 48 died from heart attack, he didnt know he had a hereditary bad heart. the wed before he died, he said he had a pain. i asked what it was and he said walking our greyhounds, must have pulled a mussel. He was mowing lawns, doing gardening very fit and healthy. the only thing i can say now, im not afraid to die either, as i know my soul mate Mike, will be waiting for me, with a big smile, big kiss and open arms. Im sure he is shocked/sad to be on the other side. I miss him terribly and my heart is broken. I feel your pain

Loss of my girl friend
by: Doreen UK

Kevin I am so sorry for your loss of your girlfriend. She died too soon before she could keep her hospital appt. Because I live in the UK I am aware of the state of our Health Service and how it is letting us down all the time due to lack of resources. Having to wait so long for hospital appointments could leave many people vulnerable and not getting the proper care they deserve.
I lost my husband of 44yrs. 16 months ago to lung cancer caused by working with asbestos. He also did not get the proper care. The Oncologist shook hands with him and said there is nothing more we can do and sent him home to die. I cared for him for over 3yrs.39days and then he died. The grief is so painful I can understand how you don't want to go on in life. If you find yourself struggling with grief try CRUSE bereavement services. They have good counsellors trained to deal with all aspects of grief. You will find this service invaluable at such a time of loss. I found it beneficial taking ONE DAY AT A TIME. this is how I got through the last 16 months. I nurtured myself for the first 6 months and I built up my self-esteem and helped me cope with grief. Do what you can for yourself to build yourself up. Having supportive family and friends also helps us to cope better with grief. These will be very tough days and months ahead. But it does get better in time. Don't give up HOPE!

So sorry

What a tragic loss that didn't have to happen so soon. I'm sure you're saying "IF ONLY" and thinking coulda, shoulda, woulda a thousand times.

May God give you the strength to get to the peaceful and acceptance side of your journey of greiving.
