LOSS OF PET:
TELL US ABOUT YOUR LOST PET

Loss of Pet Pages...

"Give sorrow words; the grief that does not speak knits up the o'er-wrought heart and bids it break."

-- William Shakespeare (MacBeth)

Why? Because writing feels good. It is probably the most basic and simple method of creative grieving. Experts all agree that expressing your grief is essential to a healthy mourning process, whether due to loss of an animal or human companion.

Our society as a whole does not recognize the significance of pet loss or provide formal and public rituals, like a human funeral, where sorrow can be openly expressed and emotional support freely given. So you are pretty much on your own with pet loss grief, and may be embarrassed and unwilling to share it in a healthy way.

Think of your own "loss of pet" page as an emotional outlet for you, one you won't find elsewhere. We will not be judgmental or make you feel "crazy" over your deep sorrow. All you will find here is a silent army of readers, other animal lovers, who have gone through what you have. We feel your pain and wish you well.

So tell us all about your lost pet, what you will miss about him. Tell us what happened to him, and how you feel about your tragedy. Express your words of pet loss sorrow; it will be therapeutic in the long run.  Come back later and read the comments left by visitors to your page, and see how you felt "back then".

Share your story of pet loss with others! It will help in coping with your loss. It will also help others to know that they are not alone in their pain. Helping others, even in a small way, helps you. You can access loss of pet grief stories left by others below the submission form. Feel free to comment or give comfort to others if you wish.

Ready to tell your story?  It's very easy, and there is no cost. Just click in and start writing below. (*Tip: Compose your story first in Notepad or other simple word processor, make all your corrections, then copy and paste into the box below). And please provide a picture of your lost baby.
