Lost Dad

I lost my father just less than 2 weeks ago, and I'm finding it very difficult to deal with. He was 62, died in his sleep. I find it very difficult to get up in the morning.

I lost my dad , too

i lost my dad, too. when i was a little baby. i appreciate every moment with him even though i never really knew a lot. i'm thankful for everything. take it day by day , coping through the grief is important. don't be sad for the loss. be thankful for the time and memories.

im so sorry

hi i lost my dad four months ago and i know exactly what your going through. all you do is take one day at a time, i still cant believe my dad is gone he was 61 i miss him so much and life is not the same since he died. all i can say is be nice to yourself and when your on your own talk to your dad as if he is beside you doing that brings me comfort

Why does it have to hurt so much
by: Anonymous

My dad died Oct 5 this year, he was 65. I feel your pain. I've never lost anyone in my inner family circle. I now get "Christmas can be a hard time for people" I was told to take a set amount of time, as often as I needed to grieve for my dad, that's good, healthy. But try and take more time celebrating your live and what makes living a wonderful thing, I know that's what my dad would have wanted for me. Jennifer

I know how you feel

I lost my Dad this year and he was only 49, and it is right, there are no right words to say either. I'm so so sorry for your loss :(

So Sorry
by: Anonymous

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I sometimes think that there should be something to say to make someone feel better, but there is no bright side to point out when you are saying goodbye to a parent. I hope you can find some comfort in your memories of him and by passing on the things you admired about him to other people. I wish you well, fellow traveler.
