Lost my baby boy 2 weeks ago

My baby boy, Adam, died 2 weeks ago today. He was 2 days shy of turning 2 months old. Adam had a cold and coughed up some phlegm and swallowed it. He choked and stopped breathing. My husband attempted CPR but was unable to revive him. He called 911, and Adam could not be resuscitated for about an hour.

Due to the lack of oxygen for so long, his brain began to swell and he went downhill very quickly. We were told that Adam did not have any brain activity other than breathing (which he was barely doing on his own) and would not recover.

We made the decision to remove his breathing tube. Less than 3 hours after doing so, our sweet Adam passed away. We miss him so much, and this is the worst pain I could ever imagine.
