He was to be 65 on November 28 and was just 2 weeks from receiving medicare. He was hoping to work until he was 66 and work-maybe part time in his retirement.
We love camping and taking trips to the Redwoods in California, Wyoming, Oregon and was looking forward to traveling the USA. His sudden death took me by surprise. I thought I would find him out in the yard from a heart attach like him Dad did 11 years ago, not this. I feel so guilty for not being there more for him more. When he had his heart surgery he was in the hospital for 2 weeks and I would go see him after work, so I thought they would just take his gallbladder out and he would recover like he did with his heart. But that was not to be. His kidneys shut down the day after he was admitted into the hospital and the next day he was in ICU and went into cardiac arrest while I was visiting him. They brought him back but not for ever.
The next day they called and said I better get there. Our daughter was there all ready and we decided to take him off the ventilator. He was breathing so hard and deep and I told him it was going to be OK and that we would be OK. He then breathed less harder and he was gone.
It just doesn't seem possible that he is gone. I miss him so much! Love him so much! So sorry he had to suffer that way but grateful he didn't have to suffer for long. He told me he and God were OK and he was not afraid to die what ever would take him. He had made peace with God and God the father and Son and Holy Spirit are my friends as well and have truly helped.
Love you sweetheart and always will!
