Lost without Mum

I lost my Mum on June 11th 2010 - 7 weeks today.
She had not felt good since Christmas. In April she was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and was being treated with chemotherapy - once every 3 weeks. After 2 doses we were told that the treatment was working. The third was delayed a week because of low platelets and low white blood cells. Then again on the Wednesday because of low white blood cells. On the Thursday night/Friday morning 1:08am she passed away - blood clot on her lung.

What a big shock.

I feel like I've lost my Mum, my best friend, companion - we did everything together - holidays, played bridge etc etc, and I lived with her.

I am an only child. I lost my Dad 18 years ago - didn't feel as bad then as I do now, but I had to be strong for Mum at the time.

I am being supported by a lady at church but she won't let me get too reliant on her and won't see me forever - that hurts at the moment!
