Maddy, I love you always
Maddy left me on the 28th of December 2011, the worst day of my life, and I have cried every night since. She entered my life 8 years ago, and has taught me so much over the years. You might be thinking 'It's only a horse', but she was not only my horse, she was my best friend and a member of my family.
She was 31 years old (about 93 in horse years), but no-one expected her to pass away, she was always so strong. She never retired or lost her spark. She was always the boss, both in the field and out.
Maddy, I will always love you. I can't put into words just how much I love you, and how much you have changed my life.
On behalf of everyone who met you I would like to say how much everyone loves you. You will never be forgotten. I know you are up in Heaven looking down on us all, laughing at us for crying, when you are galloping around Heaven.
You still help me in everything I do, not only in riding, but the way I look at things. You lived every day to the full, and that has had a real affect on me.
I can't thank you enough for always being there for me, Maddy. I love you always.
