Miss you Mum

by lorraine
(Hampshire England)

My beautiful Mum died on the 17 February 2011 at 11.15am she was so tough she had fought off breast cancer in 1998 and two massive bleeds to her brain in 2004 she was in a coma for 17 days but pulled through and proved all the doctors wrong, she told them she would walk out of the hospital on her own 2 feet and she did 9 months later, we were so proud of her.
After a year she started to have small fits, but they got worse as the years went by, each time she had one, we lost a little bit more of her, until early February this year, she had a bad fit and was taken into hospital where she died on that fateful Thursday morning, I am so glad i was with her every night especially the Wednesday night before she died, the last thing I said to her was,"I love you Mum" and she replied "I love you to babe, nite nite" I will treasure those last words.
I love and miss my Mum more and more each day and she will live forever in my heart.
God bless to all of you who have lost their beautiful Mums XX

So sorry about your loss I too lost my Mom 6..well almost 7 months ago but feels like yesterday. I did right a message here too about missing my Mom and I hope it helps me heal..I know time heals all wounds but it isn't any fun to go through this. I hope in time you will be okay and the memories of your MOm will help you in this hard time. I know I will always have my memories, I would rather have my Mom back but I know that isn't going to happen...hang in there.
