Brother: Dennis

Kids: Lana, Jim, Joe.

Grandkids: Jimmy, Devin, Joey, Aiden

You have been gone for far too long Mom. We all miss and love you soo much!!

We all loved her soooo much. She didnt have an enemy in the world. Mom was gracious, loving, and caring.

She would go out of her way to help others out.

She did a great job of bringing up 3 kids basically on her own( w/ Grandma, and Grandpa's help ;-) )

Mom made us all feel so special and loved us all so much.

She was also a GREAT cook, and we all try to mimic her cooking, but this is not why we miss her most. :-) She was the kindest person on Earth, and she will not be forgotten.

You will forever be missed.

We love you MOM!!!

Diamond in the rough....
by: Joe Rowan

I was really excited to see your post! I am one of her sons, Joe. I don't remember you, but it sounds like you were really close with my Mom. I am sorry that you had to find out this way, that she has passed. However, I am really glad to hear from you.

My brother, Jim; sister, Lana; and I appreciate your kind words. We actually probably have a few questions to ask you about Mom, and just our family in general. :-)

Feel free to email me at
with any questions, or stories, etc...

I would love to keep in touch with you, and fill you in on any details you may be wondering about.

Thanks so much for writing, Jan.

My best friend as a little girl
by: jan smith richardson

I don't know how long this has been here, and maybe no one will see it, but Louise was my very best girlfriend from the age of 6 to about 14, when we moved off Spaulding Ave in Chicago. After seeing this, I can't tell you the amount of memories that came to mind. Our families were very close & I remember visting Theresa when I was a much older teenager. Joe worked at Helene Curtis and they were just the most beautiful couple. Grandma & Grampa lived downstairs of them and couldn't speak a word of English.(None I could understand anyway)But she made the best perogi in the world.
So sorry to hear about Louise. I only have the best memories of my childhood & a lot of it was because of her. I am so sorry for your loss.
