My Angel

Your halo is golden
Your wings a pale blue
Your gown a slight silver
Your promise, so true

You told me you'd watch me
Forever with love
I miss and adore you

It's very comforting to think of mom being able to see us right now. Her mind is clear and she is in a place where there is no death or tears. It must be wonderful. She is her real self now.

How true.My mother died very quick. My father passed away on Dec.2012.He had struggled with multiple myeloma( a blood cancer that forms tumors that attack the bone marrow and cause all kinds of problems)He was a miracle in itself because he lived 13 yrs with it. The average life span with this was 2yrs.Momma was a military wife who moved often, took care of,eventually,6 kids, packed, unpacked, took care of bills and other things for all her adult life. She also raised a mentally retarded child until he was in his 40's.All of a sudden she had no one to take care of.She sat, watched TV,slept and ate some. She gave up after her mate of 64 yrs was gone. I was on the way to a dr's appointment for my husband when I got the message she was on the way to the hospital because she wasn't breathing.I miss her but mine, like yours is still watching over us.I don't doubt that at all.GOD BLESS you and give you strength love and prayers sent your way
