My beautiful Mama Chela

My beautiful Mama Chela passed away this morning, 4-12-2013. She had the most beautiful, purest heart and soul. Everyone who met her fell in love with her. She touched so many lives and was my biggest role model. I miss her so much...this pain in so deep and just miss her. Her laugh made your heart smile, her kisses were like gold. She was always my comfort in my time of need. To not have her here anymore is the hardest thing to live with. I feel like a part of me died too. My Mama Chela was my heart and now my heart is broken. I will never be the same...

Your mama chela was a beautiful woman and sounds like a one in a million person. My nana is expected to pass in the next few weeks and already my grief has set in. Seeing the picture of your mama chela made me smile as it reminded me very much of my nan and her infectious smile too. Wish you and your family all the best and hope your coping ok.

Love and caring thoughts sent your way

Thank you so very much for your kind words. I so appreciate them. She is missed greatly. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I'm sure your grandchildren have some wonderful memories. My grandparents sure gave me some. I will be sending you positive, loving vibes. My grandmother always taught us to love and be generous with our feelings. Thank you again and hope you feel the good energy sent your way.

I am sorry for your loss of your Mama Chela. This is going to be roughest few days and weeks for you as your try to adjust to this loss of someone so precious from your life. The early days are the worst as you try to put in place the funeral arrangements and try to get everything organised so that things are done well.
I lost my husband 11 months ago and I was so busy with all the details around the funeral that I didn't have time to grieve and I must have been numb for a while. It is only now almost 1yrs on that my grief is overwhelming me and I cry more each day.
I spent a good evening with my 2 grandchildren and they were so happy and amusing that I felt sad and depressed that my husband did not get the joy and happiness I did this evening. He was robbed of this golden moment by dying of cancer.
It is the needing of the one's we have lost from our lives that cause us the most difficulty. We all need each other in some way as we all perform a function for each other and now that has gone from our lives. Nothing can replace what we have lost and so it goes on, because when we die our loved one's left will have the same difficulty and loss. So much pain, sadness, loss, grief. I know we all share in your sorrow and we will be here to support you. But I realise that this is a solo journey for all of us in our own way as we try to cope with an immense loss from our life. I just want you to know that although grief has a time and journey to Healing. We all go through this and we all understand the process and the feelings you will be experiencing now. They won't last too long. You will recover from grief, and you will learn to go on in life to new victories that will help you through life.
