My beloved Johnny

by David
(Winchester, VA)

My brother, whom just turned 30 and called me two days before to tell me I was going to be an Uncle died in a hiking accident on September 26th, 2010. He was climbing a mountain and got caught in a rock slide. They say he was killed instantly, but it still is so hard. It's going to be so hard to picture life with out him. He was my second half, to lean on, to talk to, and to share life with. Rest in Peace, bro', I love you.

Thank you

Your words truly moved me. I thank you for taking the time to write. You're so right, you begin to live on auto pilot. Going through your normal routine, but with something missing. It is very comforting to read your words and to know there are other people who care, who listen, and who understand. Many blessings to you and your family.

HE'S STILL WITH YOU

I read your post with tears spilling down my face. Because I really know how you feel. I lost my brother July 2010. He was younger than me, but he was always there to help me. How do you go on living? You breathe, go on auto pilot and do the same all during the grieving process.

I don't know about time. I have no separation in time. One day is like the day before. But with the help of God, we'll make it somewhere,
sometime.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
